REEL: There haven’t been any sightings or observed activities since the article was written—Funnai is trying to leave him alone. According to their current way of thinking, they plan to leave him alone unless they believe him to be in specific danger. The most recent expedition to find evidence of his continued survival was last year, a trip needed to establish the order prohibiting development there.
